What to expect

During the six-month traineeship, you will gain practical experience and learn all the skills and tools you need to join us as a Junior Analyst & Consultant after the traineeship. You will work on a series of simulated projects that are based on real zweipunkt projects. These projects, also known as use cases, include challenging customer enquiries, technical challenges and project presentations to prepare you as well as possible for your work with us. You can also work on real customer projects during the traineeship if such projects are available and you have the skills to do so.

  • Data preparation & modelling: You’ll learn how to extract data from various systems, clean it up and convert it into structured models – for example, using Tableau Prep, Python, SQL or Excel.

  • Dashboarding & Visualisation: You will develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI, which distil complex information into clear, concise insights.

  • Data integration & automation: You will work with API interfaces and tools such as Adverity to develop automated reporting workflows.

  • KPI logic & reporting structures: You define key performance indicators, develop metric models and help teams make data-driven decisions.

  • System integration & implementation: You will implement your solutions within the organisation – through design, training and support during implementation.

Practical learning:

  • You will work on realistic use cases based on actual zweipunkt projects

  • You will produce reports and present your analyses both internally and externally

  • You will take ownership of projects from quotation to evaluation

  • You will be supported by experienced colleagues and receive ongoing feedback

  • You will take part in internal training and further develop your skills through self-study.

Your profile:

  • You hold a university degree (e.g. a Master’s) or have relevant professional experience in data processing, online marketing, business intelligence or a related field. We also welcome candidates from other backgrounds who demonstrate strong potential.

  • You have a strong interest in data analysis and data visualisation – ideally, you have some initial experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio or similar applications.

  • You have a passion for data and want to learn how to provide sound advice and support to others on data-related issues – both in terms of content and interpersonal skills.

  • You have excellent knowledge of MS Excel and, ideally, some initial experience with technologies such as R, Python or SQL. Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, ETL tools or data modelling is a further plus.

  • You are interested in related topics such as business, marketing, IT or digital transformation – and understand how these areas interact in practice.

  • You are interested in technological developments, new tools, markets and what will be important tomorrow.

  • You think analytically and conceptually, can get to the heart of complex issues and present them in a structured way. You keep a clear overview even in dynamic situations.

  • You are highly self-motivated, keen to develop both professionally and personally, and approach new tools and technologies with an open mind and a willingness to learn.

  • You’re a strong communicator, speak good German (B2), work independently, contribute ideas and take responsibility – within the team, on projects and when dealing with clients.
